I’m a Researcher and Assistant Professor in Didactic and Special Pedagogy at the Department of Education, School of Psychology and Education, University of Bologna, where I teach “General Education and Educational Technologies” at the Degree Programme Primary Teacher Education and “Technologies of Education” at the Degree Programme Expert in social and cultural education.
I’m involved in several research projects about ICT in education, inclusive school, children and citizenship education in Italy and abroad (in Kosovo, Palestine, El Salvador, and in European networks).  My research are concentrated  in ICT in everyday life (especially informal learning and digital media); didactic innovation and ICT; socio-constructivist learning and social networking (also in a gender perspective); e-learning environments; community education. Since 2009 I’m a member of CSGE, Study Centre of Gender and Education, Department of Education, University of Bologna. From 2011 I’m also member of Editorial Board of the University of Bologna Open Access International Scientific Journal RPD – Ricerche di Pedagogia e Didattica – Journal of Theories and Research in Education.

I have two daughters, I live in village in the hills around Bologna where there is lot of green and life is better for children and myself too. I like walking, reading, listening to music, cooking, playing with my kids, traveling around the world and meeting people and different cultures.
I’m very happy that this year you will be in Bologna and we’ll have the opportunity to work about this town: I’m sure your curiosity and creativity will let me see my town with different eyes and discover new aspects of being a European citizen!
